Role Responsibilities
- Efficiently and effectively conduct and adjudicate investigations of unusual activity.
- Ensure timely SAR submission within applicable jurisdictions or close referrals as not suspicious.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships and network amongst peers in the industry.
- Conduct investigations assigned by the Head of Investigation Team.
- Provide support to Customer Help Desk / Legal Team requests for investigative assistance.
- Communicate with customers, agents, and internal attorneys as applicable.
Requirements
- University education (Preferred).
- Experience in an investigative function.
- Experience using blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic.
- Demonstrated AML experience including customer and enhanced due diligence (CDD/EDD), AML/CTF/Sanctions Investigations, SAR/STR reporting.
- Basic knowledge of blockchain technology (enhanced in the role).
- CAMS/CBP designation (Preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills (decision-making).
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Organisational understanding (enhanced in the role).
