When you create a talent profile or use our services, we may collect the following information:

• Professional information including skills, work experience, and portfolio links
• CV and resume data uploaded to your profile
• Wallet addresses (for crypto-related profile details)
• Account authentication data (via Supabase session)
• Anonymous usage and analytics data

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to create talent profiles that are visible to recruiters who have purchased access through our platform. Specifically, we use your data to:

• Build and display your professional profile to verified, paying recruiters
• Facilitate connections between talent and employers in the Web3 space
• Improve our platform, features, and user experience
• Communicate with you about your account and our services

Profile Visibility

By submitting your profile on Web3Vacancy, you accept that your professional information (name, skills, experience, links, and availability) will be shown to recruiters who have purchased access to the talent pool. Contact detail visibility (email, phone, social links) is controlled on a per-profile basis by the platform admin.

Data Storage & Security

Your talent profile and associated data are stored on our own infrastructure with industry-standard security practices. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Payment Processing

Payments on web3vacancy are processed by Stripe (card payments) and OxaPay (cryptocurrency payments). We do not store any payment card information. All payment data is handled directly by the respective payment processor.

Analytics

We use Amplitude to collect anonymous usage data, including page views and feature usage patterns. This data helps us understand how our platform is used and improve the experience. Analytics data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify individual users.

Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

• Authentication: Session cookies to keep you signed in
• Analytics: Basic analytics cookies to understand usage patterns

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies from third parties.

Google Sign-In and Google Calendar Integration

When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile information (name, email address, profile photo, and your unique Google account ID) for the sole purpose of creating and authenticating your web3vacancy account. This data is stored on our servers and is treated identically to data you would have provided via our email-based sign-up flow.

If you are a recruiter and choose to connect your Google Calendar from your account settings, we additionally request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope. This scope is used only to create new calendar events on your primary Google Calendar when you schedule an interview from inside the recruiter dashboard and opt in to "Auto-create Google Meet link". Each created event corresponds to a specific in-app action you took. We do not read your existing calendar events, modify events we did not create, or access your calendar in the background.

web3vacancy's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell, share, transfer, or use this data for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except (a) with your explicit consent, (b) for security reasons such as investigating abuse, (c) to comply with applicable law, or (d) when the data is aggregated and used for internal operations in accordance with applicable privacy and other jurisdictional legal requirements.

You can revoke web3vacancy's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions page, or by clicking "Disconnect" in the Google Calendar card inside your recruiter account settings.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your profile information is only shared with recruiters who have purchased access to the talent pool through our platform. We may share data with service providers (our hosting infrastructure provider, Amplitude, Stripe, OxaPay, and Google when you opt into Google sign-in or Google Calendar integration) strictly for the purpose of operating our platform.

Data Retention

Your profile data is retained on our platform until you request its deletion or your account has been inactive for 2 years. After the retention period, your data will be permanently removed from our systems.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your profile and associated data
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
