Campus C++ Software Engineer (Intern)

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain the systems that connect our strategies to the exchange, including market data handling, order entry, and the full order lifecycle in between.
• Build the trading platforms that support the firm's expansion into new businesses and markets.
• Design the modules that monitor performance in real-time and apply pre-trade and post-trade controls across trading systems components.
• Build and maintain the back testing infrastructure used by researchers to evaluate systematic strategies against large-scale historical market data.
• Produce the datasets that traders and quantitative researchers rely on daily to make critical decisions.
• Debug real incidents, trace data through the full pipeline, and fix root causes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in C++ with hands-on experience working with large-scale systems.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, system design, networking concepts and operating systems.
• Solid debugging skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases quickly.
• Comfortable working on Linux — command line, debugging, and bare-metal environments.

Bonus/Good to Have:

• Experience with system performance optimization.
• Experience with Python.
• Contribution to open-source projects.
• Background in statistics or data analysis.
• Finance and economics knowledge.
• Competitive programming background.
