Data Analyst BI

Responsibilities

• Collecting requirements — interacting with clients and end-users, identifying reporting and dashboard needs
• Data design — developing calculation logic, setting tasks for developers/data engineers on data transformation from source systems to target data marts
• Data quality control — checking the correctness, completeness, and consistency of data for end-users
• Data warehouse development — participating in the design of layers and marts in DWH, optimizing queries when working with large volumes of data
• Integration design — understanding approaches to obtaining data from adjacent systems (REST API, Kafka, RabbitMQ, direct database access)
• Process improvement — optimizing existing BI analytics development processes, maintaining documentation
• Reporting development and optimization — creating and refining dashboards in Tableau, optimizing performance and UI/UX

Requirements

• Proficient in SQL (filtering, subqueries, aggregation, optimization)
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehouse architecture
• Experience in building dashboards and reporting
• Ability to translate business processes into data warehouse entities
• Result-oriented, multitasking, ability to propose and implement solutions
• A plus:
• Experience with Tableau (preferably understanding LOD principles, Table Calculations, Sets, logical data model, Data Blending)
• Experience interacting with PySpark, Hive (at the analyst level)
• Experience interacting with AI agents
