Join Nethermind as a Field Application Engineer to support customer demos, pilot deployments, and technical troubleshooting in the blockchain space. This remote role requires travel across Europe.

We work closely with protocol teams, L2s, and ZK projects to help design, review, and secure cutting-edge decentralized systems.- Support technical demos with customers, operators, partners, and investors.
- Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot demo systems and pilot deployments.
- Travel between Bergamo, Zaragoza, and customer sites as needed.
- Work with engineering teams to diagnose field issues.
- Help customers understand technical requirements and deployment steps.
- Collect structured feedback from customers and partners.
- Create installation guides, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and customer technical notes.
- Support pilot rollouts, hardware testing, software validation, and demo preparation.
Experience in at least one of the following:
- Field application engineering
- Field service engineering
- Vending machine support
- Payment terminal support
- Retail automation
- Kiosks
- Industrial IoT
- Hardware-plus-software deployment
- Machine integration
- Technical customer success for physical products
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems in front of customers.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Comfort with machines, devices, wiring, networking, logs, configuration, and field debugging.
- English required.
- Italian and/or Spanish strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
Must Haves
- Experience with vending machine systems, payment terminals, telemetry, POS, kiosks, or retail automation.
- Experience supporting pilots or demos for industrial or retail technology products.
- Experience with Linux devices, networking, sensors, edge devices, or cloud-connected hardware.
- Experience working with both engineers and commercial teams.
