Extyl is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer for a remote project in a large bank, focusing on developing test frameworks in Java for high-load trading systems.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and develop functional test scenarios
- Develop automated tests in Java/Groovy for services with Protobuf/ZeroMQ, FIX/FIXML API, Oracle/Postgres DB, and internal system APIs with binary protocols
- Conduct functional and integration testing
- Develop and enhance the automated testing framework in Java/Groovy, Spring, Spock, Allure
Requirements

- Experience in trading projects on financial markets
- Versatile with a focus on Java
- Experience with FreeBSD
- At least 3 years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer and API testing
- Experience in requirements analysis and test scenario development
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in developing unit, integration, and functional automated tests in Java
- Understanding of the testing pyramid theory and practice
- Experience with mocks/stubs/emulators
- Experience with version control systems (Git, etc.)
- Experience with Linux command line is mandatory
- Understanding of CI/CD processes, experience with Jenkins (or similar)
- Experience in writing SQL queries
- Understanding of network interaction principles, general knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols is mandatory
- English language proficiency for reading technical documentation
