Extyl is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer for a remote project in a large bank, focusing on developing test frameworks in Java for high-load trading systems.

Extyl is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer for a remote project in a large bank, focusing on developing test frameworks in Java for high-load trading systems.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and develop functional test scenarios
  • Develop automated tests in Java/Groovy for services with Protobuf/ZeroMQ, FIX/FIXML API, Oracle/Postgres DB, and internal system APIs with binary protocols
  • Conduct functional and integration testing
  • Develop and enhance the automated testing framework in Java/Groovy, Spring, Spock, Allure
Requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in trading projects on financial markets
  • Versatile with a focus on Java
  • Experience with FreeBSD
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer and API testing
  • Experience in requirements analysis and test scenario development
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Experience in developing unit, integration, and functional automated tests in Java
  • Understanding of the testing pyramid theory and practice
  • Experience with mocks/stubs/emulators
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, etc.)
  • Experience with Linux command line is mandatory
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes, experience with Jenkins (or similar)
  • Experience in writing SQL queries
  • Understanding of network interaction principles, general knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols is mandatory
  • English language proficiency for reading technical documentation
