Extyl is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in CFT platform for a remote full-time position. Key tasks include migrating from Oracle to PostgreSQL and developing CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Participate in the migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL (Postgres Pro)
- Adapt and rewrite local bank code for PostgreSQL
- Ensure data integrity and functionality during migration
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment
- Administer the CFT platform (install updates, manage roles, configure gateways)
- Configure application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic) and message brokers (ActiveMQ, Kafka)
Requirements
Requirements
- Knowledge of CFT-Bank is mandatory
- Experience in migrating from Oracle to PostgreSQL is critically important
- Experience in rewriting local developments for a new DBMS
- Databases: Oracle (PL/SQL), PostgreSQL (SQL)
- CI/CD and automation: Git, Ansible, Jenkins (or equivalents)
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift (preferred)
- OS: Linux (administration)
- A plus: basic knowledge of Java (JVM, working with dumps), experience with monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), understanding of ITIL/ITSM and information security (PKI)
