About this role
Vital Partners is looking for a Senior Golang Developer to work remotely on a social e-commerce project in South Africa, focusing on developing and enhancing backend services.
Description
Vital Partners selects personnel for Russian and international businesses. The project is in the social e-commerce sector, operating in the South African market (there is a marketplace and fintech/bank).
Responsibilities
- Write new and develop existing services in Go
- Improve backend services for mobile and web clients, develop new features
- Write unit and functional tests
- Actively participate in the entire development process
- Develop and implement high-tech solutions
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Golang
- 5+ years of commercial experience with Go
- Understanding of distributed, high-load system development principles
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL, Linux, Git, Docker
- Experience solving architectural and algorithmic problems
- Ability to understand and refactor someone else's code
- A plus: understanding of client-server interaction nuances, basic knowledge of PHP (admin panel on Laravel)
