About this role
Join an international travel-tech platform as a Lead Software Engineer in the Billing Squad. Lead technical development, mentor developers, and ensure system stability in a hybrid work environment.
Description
An international travel-tech platform. The team develops a key financial domain: invoicing, payments, data reconciliation, VAT, and revenue recognition in various jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of the Billing Squad: from architectural decisions to release.
- Write production code, conduct code reviews, and keep the stack up to date.
- Collaborate with the PO to decompose tasks into MVP, assess risks, and manage technical debt.
- Ensure system stability, SLA, and incident handling.
- Mentor developers and participate in hiring.
Requirements
- 7+ years of development in .NET / C#, including 2+ years in a Team/Tech Lead role.
- Experience with SOLID, TDD, DDD, Event Sourcing, CQRS.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Docker, and microservices architecture.
- English from B2 (ability to formulate technical requirements without PO involvement).
- 'Get-it-done' culture: attention to edge cases, accountability for results.
Will be a plus:
- Experience in FinTech, Billing, ERP, or knowledge of accounting/VAT.
- Stack: C#, .NET, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, AWS, Docker, Redis, Elasticsearch.
