About the role

As a Senior Product Designer at Bitpanda, you will be responsible for creating intuitive user experiences for trading and investment platforms in the crypto space. Your work will involve simplifying complex financial products and conducting user research to enhance engagement and conversion rates.

The role requires a strong background in UX and UI design, particularly within the crypto or fintech sectors. You will collaborate with a diverse team, leveraging AI tools to prototype and test designs quickly, ensuring that the final products meet user needs effectively.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop end-to-end trading, investment, and Web3 interfaces across both mobile and web platforms
• Simplify highly complex financial products (such as tokenized financial derivatives) into intuitive, low-friction user experiences
• Conduct comprehensive user research, usability testing, and behavioral analysis to optimize funnel conversion, engagement, and drop-off rates
• Apply and continuously contribute to scalable design systems, ensuring consistency and performance across data-heavy interfaces
• Use AI to prototype, test and ship faster: build working, coded prototypes in hours, test them with customers within days, and keep our design system ready for engineers' AI coding tools to build from

Who you are

• Proven knowledge and experience in Product, UX, and UI Design, with a mandatory strong background in Crypto, Web3, or complex fintech products
• Expert in Figma and interaction design, and AI-native in how you work: you already use AI tools to build coded prototypes and test ideas fast.
• Experience simplifying complex financial concepts and workflows into accessible, user-centric designs
• Practical knowledge of working within regulated, fast-moving environments while maintaining high design delivery velocity
• A strong data-informed mindset with experience in continuous optimization based on user metrics, coupled with deep customer empathy
