About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Visual/UI Designer to join the Visual System Team, responsible for the look and feel of OKX across all product surfaces (Mobile + Web). This role involves working at the intersection of brand expression and product design, crafting the visual layer for distinctive, coherent, and trusted OKX products. You will be involved early in shaping visual concepts, integrating brand moments into product flows, and scaling visual systems across an ecosystem of products used by millions.

Responsibilities

• Design product visual experiences and create high-quality visual and UI design for OKX products spanning trading, wallet, payments, and social features, owning visual execution from concept to pixel-perfect delivery, balancing beauty with clarity
• Contribute to visual systems by working within and strengthening OKX's shared illustration styles, motion tokens, color systems, iconography, and layout patterns
• Use AI tools in your design workflow by actively integrating generative tools like Midjourney, DALL·E, and Figma AI features for ideation, exploration, variation, and asset production
• Bridge brand and product by translating brand direction into in-product visual experiences and ensuring consistency with the Brand Design team
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure visual design decisions are user-centered and technically feasible
• Pitch and present creative concepts to team leads and stakeholders, articulating the reasoning behind visual choices

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in visual design or UI design
• Portfolio demonstrating strong craft, attention to detail, and modern design sensibility across digital products
• Mobile-first experience
• Fluency with AI design tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Figma AI)
• Strong visual craft (typography, color, composition, layout) and keen eye for detail
• Experience contributing to or working within design systems
• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
• Ability to produce high-fidelity prototypes
• Solid understanding of human-centered design principles
• Clear communication skills
• Experience designing for fintech, crypto, or trading platforms (nice to have)
• Illustration or motion skills (nice to have)
• Experience working with globally distributed teams (nice to have)
• Familiarity with how visual design integrates with front-end implementation (CSS, design tokens, component architecture) (nice to have)
