What you'll be doing:

• Financial Reporting-Keeping:

- Maintain and update the general ledger and financial records. - Maintaining full sets of books including preparing payments, bank and account reconciliations, fixed assets, raising journals and preparing financial reports in the cloud accounting system. - Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely. - Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, cryptocurrency wallets, and other financial accounts.

• Transaction Management:

- Process and verify cryptocurrency transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Monitor and manage the reconciliation of cryptocurrency accounts and wallets. - Implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure transaction integrity.

• Financial Reporting:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. - Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for financial reports.

• Compliance and Auditing:

- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards. - Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. - Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and cryptocurrency regulations.

• Operational Efficiency:

- Implement and maintain accounting systems and software to improve efficiency. - Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. - Streamlining financial process workflows. Identify opportunities for process including use of automation and tools.

• Support Financial Management:

- Provide financial analysis and support to the finance team and other departments. - Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for management and stakeholders. - Respond to financial inquiries from management, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the cryptocurrency or fintech sector.
• Experience with cryptocurrency transactions and blockchain technology is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in cloud accounting software, Xero will be a definite plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office / Google Suite, esp Excel and Word.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
