About this role
Algous Studio is looking for a Senior AI Compositor to join their team, focusing on creating and processing images using AI technologies for film and series projects.
Description
Algous Studio is a computer graphics studio with 20 years of experience in creating visual effects for films and series, expanding its team for new project launches.
Responsibilities
- Generating and refining images and videos according to technical specifications and references;
- Creating and replacing backgrounds, expanding environments, adding and modifying frame elements using AI;
- Maintaining character appearance, composition, specified movement, and visual coherence between shots;
- Eliminating generation artifacts: flickering, deformations, unstable details, and textures;
- Compositing AI materials, CG elements, and footage with live backgrounds, working with Full CG shots;
- Cleanup and keying of complex shots using classical and AI tools;
- Matching light, color, perspective, optics, grain, and motion blur;
- Setting up master shots and maintaining a unified visual solution in the scene;
- Testing new AI tools, developing repeatable workflows, and sharing experiences with the team.
Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of Nuke;
- Practical experience with neural networks for image and video generation and editing;
- Familiarity with several current AI tools: e.g., Kling, Seedance, Veo, Nano Banana, Seedream or equivalents;
- Ability to work with prompts, references, and source materials, consistently achieving results as per the task;
- Understanding the limitations of generative models and the ability to choose the appropriate solution method;
- At least 2 years of compositing experience, preferably in film or series;
- Knowledge of lighting, composition, perspective, and editing principles;
- Understanding color spaces and working with OCIO/ACES;
- Artistic vision, attention to detail, and ability to assess shot quality in motion;
- Ability to plan work independently, estimate timelines, and account for revisions;
- Teamwork skills;
- Adherence to NDA and studio rules when working with source materials and external AI services.
