Backend Engineer

About the Role

RWAHub is building backend infrastructure for a real-world asset tokenization marketplace. You'll own the design and implementation of core backend systems that power asset workflows, user management, and blockchain integration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend APIs and services
• Design scalable architecture for marketplace and asset workflows
• Integrate with blockchain smart contracts (event listening, indexing, data sync)
• Manage off-chain logic for listings, users, and transactions
• Design data models for real-world asset tokenization flows
• Work closely with frontend and smart contract engineers

Requirements

• Strong backend development experience in Node.js
• Experience building production-grade APIs and services
• Understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Experience working with distributed systems or scalable architectures
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code

Nice to Have

• Experience with blockchain or Web3 systems
• Familiarity with smart contracts (Solidity, EVM ecosystems)
• Experience with event-driven architecture or message queues
• Knowledge of authentication, security, and access control systems
