- Conduct detailed investigations of blockchain transactions to trace and track crypto assets.
- Analyze interactions with smart contracts to uncover potential fraud, errors, and vulnerabilities.
- Perform static and dynamic analysis of smart contract source code.
- Develop and utilize tools and techniques for monitoring blockchain activities.
- Generate comprehensive reports on findings and provide expert opinions.
- Work collaboratively with cybersecurity and legal teams to support ongoing investigations.
- Design and deliver training sessions on blockchain fundamentals and investigative techniques to law enforcement and other relevant teams.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in blockchain technology and forensic practices.
- Proven experience as a Crypto Investigator or similar role in blockchain technology.
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, particularly Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains.
- Proficient in smart contract programming languages such as Solidity and familiarity with other languages like Rust or C++.
- Experienced with tools for blockchain analysis like Etherscan, BlockSec, and others specific to Solana and other blockchains.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive static and dynamic analysis of smart contracts.
- Knowledgeable in forensic best practices and legal standards related to crypto investigations, with the ability to impart this knowledge to law enforcement personnel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing detailed investigative reports and presenting findings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Forensic Analysis, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications in blockchain technology or cybersecurity is a plus.
