Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features for the distributed platform, such as asynchronous replication, incremental backup with point in time recovery, support for various consistency models, fast conversion of follower tablets to leader, dynamic reconfiguration of state storage, etc.
- Develop key components of YDB, such as datashard, coordinator, mediator, cluster management system, rate limiter, state storage, improving performance and reliability.
- Participate in the development and operation of a high-load open-source system.
