- Develop top talent within the community to help drive grassroots events, both online and offline.
- Drive shared vision across teams and stakeholders, providing confident leadership to drive thought leadership.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to identify event goals, target audiences and key messages, and business outcomes.
- Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of community workshops/events, including project plans and timelines, marketing and promotions, vendor management, budget management, and measurement.
- Cross-collaborate with the Sui Foundation team’s to develop and promote content that is relevant and engaging to our community.
- 5-8+ years of experience in community engagement.
- Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing both online and offline communities, particularly in web3.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with the builder community members in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Strong understanding of the DeFi ecosystem, including DEXs, staking, lending, liquidity protocols and stablecoins.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Passion for community building and a genuine desire to foster a positive and inclusive community.
- Flexibility and desire to travel frequently and work irregular hours.
