About this role
We are looking for a practical and strong Head of Information Security (CISO) to build the information security function from scratch in a high-tech FinTech product focused on payment infrastructure.
Description
We are a high-tech FinTech product in the payment infrastructure sector.
Responsibilities
- Access & Device Security: IAM / RBAC, MFA / 2FA, VDI / Remote Desktop, MDM, encryption.
- Infrastructure & Business Continuity: segmentation and protection of critical infrastructure, Disaster Recovery.
- OPSEC & Communications: protection of corporate channels, control of external domains and digital footprint.
- Monitoring & Incident Response: building incident response processes, SIEM / DLP, root-cause analysis.
- OSINT & Data Leak Prevention: monitoring corporate data leaks, passwords, and mentions.
- Vendor Security & Compliance: risk assessment of third-party services, payment gateways, security awareness.
- Formation of a 12-month security roadmap.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Information Security;
- At least 2 years in FinTech / Payments / iGaming or other high-risk areas;
- Experience in building a security function from scratch;
- Residence outside of Russia / Belarus (abroad);
- Practical experience with IAM / RBAC, MFA / 2FA, and access management;
- Experience in developing and implementing security policies;
- Experience investigating real security incidents and implementing preventive measures;
- Understanding of payment business risks: fraud, insider threats, API access, data leaks;
- Experience with security for distributed / remote teams;
- Understanding of OSINT, OPSEC, and digital footprint;
- Ability to make quick decisions and take responsibility in crisis situations.
