About the Company

Unigox is a startup founded by the co-founder of Paxful. We're building a crypto payment aggregator: B2C users and B2B businesses convert fiat to crypto and back through P2P or licensed local providers operating in their own regions. We currently cover 40+ countries across Africa, Asia, and Europe.

About the Role

We're looking for a Junior AI Engineer to help us grow our payment infrastructure. The role is focused on integrating new payment providers into our agent system: each provider connects following the same architecture pattern, so you'll get up to speed fast. What matters most is that you already build with AI tools daily and are comfortable owning a task from requirements to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate new payment providers into the agent system; each follows a standard architecture, you own the integration end to end
• Test your own integrations before they go to production
• Communicate with business stakeholders and external partners to gather and clarify requirements
• Take part in code reviews
• Write technical documentation for the integrations you build

Requirements

• You write, review, and test code using AI tools. This is the primary way we work, not a bonus
• Experience building API integrations
• Able to write clear technical documentation
• Strong communication skills: comfortable talking to partners and business stakeholders, asking the right questions to clarify requirements
• Working proficiency in English: reading documentation, communicating with partners in writing

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech or payments: payment flows, financial systems, compliance basics
• Mobile or frontend background
