Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based components and features with support from experienced developers.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code following the team’s coding standards.
- Investigate and fix bugs and contribute to improving existing functionality.
- Work closely with Java developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
- Learn and apply software development best practices, design principles, and development tools.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Contribute to automation and improvements that make the team’s work more efficient.
- Use AI-powered tools to improve productivity and automate repetitive tasks.
- Learn how to use AI responsibly and effectively in software development.
- Actively participate in the Agile Scrum process.
- Continuously develop your technical skills and share your knowledge.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Java fundamentals and Java Core.
- Basic principles of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Some experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Basics of software development and version control (Git).
- Understanding of unit testing and the importance of automated tests.
- Academic, personal, or professional experience developing software in Java.
- Willingness to learn Spring / Spring Boot and other technologies used by the team.
- Comfortable working as part of a team and asking questions.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Extra points for experience with Spring / Spring Boot, developing REST APIs, familiarity with Maven or Gradle, experience with Docker, basic understanding of CI/CD, and Git-based development workflows.
