Join Coinbase as a Legal Ops Associate to enhance legal operations through AI-first processes and manage outside counsel spend effectively.

Responsibilities
- Build and enhance automated, AI-first processes for legal e-billing and outside counsel management.
- Drive implementation of OC spend strategy, reviewing and benchmarking law firm billing rates.
- Own the monthly accruals process and legal vendor onboarding workflows.
- Administer and maintain the legal e-billing system (Brightflag).
- Analyze OC spend data to produce reports and actionable insights.
- Partner cross-functionally to enhance program effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of outside counsel management experience.
- Experience managing legal accruals and month-end financial processes.
- Hands-on experience with legal e-billing platforms and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Proven ability to project manage operational initiatives.
- Experience with data tools for building reports and dashboards.
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly.
Conditions & Benefits
- Base salary range: $99,365 — $116,900 USD.
- Total compensation may include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
