Digital League is looking for a Load Testing Engineer to design and implement load tests, monitor performance metrics, and identify system bottlenecks.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Design and implement load tests to evaluate application and service performance
- Model various load levels
- Organize and conduct load testing (finding maximum, confirming maximum, stress testing)
- Monitor key performance indicators (load on servers and networks)
- Identify bottlenecks and system limitations, develop recommendations for their elimination
- Work with monitoring platforms and performance profiling tools
- Prepare reports on load testing results and recommendations for improving architecture and infrastructure
Requirements
Requirements
- Experience in diagnosing and analyzing performance issues based on load testing results (DB, application), working with logs, tracing, participating in performance optimization efforts
- Understanding of the typical process for releasing new functionality (roles, contours, stages)
- Experience in setting up monitoring on the tested information system (monitoring Java, Kafka, PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of relational database fundamentals, SQL (queries, joins, nested queries, grouping, sorting), practical experience with Postgres
- Knowledge of OOP, experience in developing simple applications
- Experience in testing microservice applications
- Understanding of the structure and principles of cluster architecture of individual components of information systems (DBMS, Kafka, Redis)
