Manager, Environmental Health & Safety (Data Centers)

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary EHS contact for all Helios operations
• Develop and Implement EHS standards and principles, policies, and practices
• Directly manage, mentor, and develop the site's EHS Engineers, providing technical oversight of their compliance programs, incident investigations, and training deliverables
• Manage site-specific programs including LOTO, confined space entry, fall protection, hot work, HazCom/GHS, and electrical safety per OSHA 1910 (General Industry)
• Oversee environmental compliance obligations including hazardous waste management, stormwater (SWPPP), air permits, and spill prevention (SPCC)
• Deliver site-level EHS training and toolbox talks; maintain training records for all site employees and contractors
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations; develop and track corrective action plans to closure
• Prepare and deliver monthly EHS metrics reports to Helios campus leadership and the regional EHS team
• Lead emergency action planning, coordinate regular drills, and serve as site emergency response coordinator
• Manage site EHS budget including PPE procurement, safety equipment, and external vendor services
• Communicate corrective actions and safety alerts clearly to the workforce
• Escalate regulatory concerns and significant safety issues to the Sr. Manager, EHS
• Other duties assigned by Sr. Manager, EHS

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. Equivalent practical experience may be substitute for formal education
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) preferred
• First Aid / CPR / AED and OHSA 30-hour certification strongly preferred
• 3-6 years of EHS experience including 2+ years managing EHS programs in an industrial, critical facility, or logistics environment
• Must have working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations in the US
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence front-line supervisors and operations teams
