Requirements
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of AWS: S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation/IAM, Lambda, Step Functions.
- Experience building data lake/lakehouse from scratch (Parquet, Iceberg/Delta/Hudi, partitioning).
- Python (PySpark) and advanced SQL.
- Integration of MySQL/PostgreSQL, CDC via AWS DMS or similar.
- Orchestration: Airflow (MWAA), Step Functions or Dagster.
- Data modeling, data quality, and testing.
- Security and data protection: encryption, row/column-level access, auditing.
- Terraform/CDK, Git, basics of CI/CD.
- English B2+.
- Plus: Redshift, BI tools (QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau, Superset), dbt.
- Kinesis/Kafka and stream processing.
- Experience in EdTech and knowledge of FERPA/COPPA.
- AWS certifications in Data Engineering/Analytics.
