BTSE is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead technical solutions for operational challenges, focusing on Python and Java development.

Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and resolve business challenges by creating technical roadmaps.
- Design and maintain high-performance web applications and microservices using Python and Java.
- Architect and implement internal services following REST best practices.
- Communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Research and adopt new tools to automate processes.
- Manage the complete software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and/or Java.
- Experience with modern asynchronous frameworks, preferably FastAPI.
- Proven experience building web applications using REST APIs, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Advanced proficiency in modern SQL, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems.
- Experience with Docker and GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong communication skills.
