What we do
Otherlife is MoonPay’s digital creative studio. We help brands find their place in Web3 and emerging tech through strategy, branding, and digital experience design. We create end-to-end solutions for leading companies like Mastercard, Arsenal FC, Coinbase, OpenSea, and Shopify. From brand identities and interactive platforms to on-chain experiences. Our work blends strategy, design, storytelling, and technical fluency, with a focus on clarity, usability and cultural relevance. We care deeply about craft and about building work that lasts beyond a launch moment. With MoonPay’s infrastructure behind us, we’re able to turn ambitious creative ideas into real, scalable products and experiences.
- Lead brand projects starting with research, including trends and competitor analysis and identifying whitespace opportunities.
- Define and develop innovative, compelling and interactive brands, digital experiences, and concepts in collaboration with design leads, brand strategists, and clients.
- Establish design systems, style guidelines for type, color usage, patterns, UI, iconography, illustration, motion, 3D, photography and videography.
- Create and deliver presentations and written rationales for internal critiques and client-facing reviews.
- Design wireframes, screens, and prototypes to illustrate product behavior in relation to interaction, 3D, and motion.
- Experience designing new, innovative layouts and designs that scale and flex across different platforms, including web, mobile, presentations, etc.
- A user-centric design approach, as evidenced by considerations for accessibility, technology platforms, and contextual storytelling.
- Experience designing interactive websites utilizing three.js, WebGL, React Three Fiber, Unity, Unreal Engine, GSAP.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills — the ability to work with Design Directors and Creative Directors, as well as the confidence and skill to communicate ideas clearly.
- 5+ years of design experience with 3+ years in a Senior Designer role (or higher) within an agency setting.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- A passion for all aspects of design, including conceptual thinking, typography, motion, copy, and imagery.
- Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Cinema 4D.
- Bonus: Design and animate 2D & 3D objects, characters, props, and environments in varying project styles.
- Bonus experience: Experience working with crypto, NFTs, blockchain technology and Web3.
