  • Maintain risk governance documentation and reporting, including policies, KRIs, risk appetite statements.
  • Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and other relevant functions to incorporate regulatory requirements and financial crime considerations into regional risk management activities.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities and assist the Regional Head of Risk in preparing for regulatory reviews and supervisory engagements.
Requirements

  • Experience supporting or contributing to the build-out of a risk function, including frameworks for internal controls, risk appetite, and governance, under the direction of a Head of Risk or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of financial and non-financial risk domains, including operational, technology and cybersecurity, market, credit, and liquidity risk, and familiarity with recognised risk management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to turn risk analysis into clear reporting and actionable recommendations for senior management.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and jurisdictions, exercise sound judgement, and escalate material matters appropriately.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, PRM, or CRMA are desirable.
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
