About this role
Join Coinbase as a Senior Software Engineer, Backend, to drive quality and reliability in our crypto platform. Remote position based in Singapore.
Description
At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world by building the emerging onchain platform and the future global financial system. We seek candidates passionate about crypto and blockchain technology to join our Consumer Foundations team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and tools for quality metrics.
- Partner with engineering teams on reliability and performance initiatives.
- Advocate for quality culture improvements.
- Align product strategy with technical roadmap.
- Promote best practices through design and code reviews.
- Lead AI-driven development practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with large scale distributed systems.
- Strong background in software engineering (Python, Java, JavaScript, Go).
- Experience with observability, debugging, and profiling.
- Passion for product experience and engineering hygiene.
- Ability to collaborate and influence engineering culture.
- Experience with generative AI tools.
Conditions & Benefits
- Remote position with in-person participation required throughout the year.
- Annual base salary range: $128K-$212K.
- Equity and bonus eligibility.
