About this role
Join an international company as a Senior Technical Writer, focusing on high-precision geodetic equipment and software. Fully remote position available for candidates in Europe.
Description
We’re looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join an international hardware/software company developing professional geodetic equipment and proprietary software for high-precision measurements.
Responsibilities
- Own technical documentation end-to-end: planning, writing, and publishing content in English.
- Document new product features and releases, keeping documentation aligned with product development.
- Define and maintain documentation standards and review the team’s work.
- Work closely with Software Development, Support, and Marketing teams.
- Maintain and improve the documentation portal.
- Mentor a Junior Technical Writer and contribute to team planning.
- Collaborate with the Localization Manager.
Requirements
- Excellent written English (C1+ / Advanced).
- Proven Technical Writing experience.
- Experience mentoring, coordinating, or leading Technical Writers.
- Strong ability to analyze and structure complex technical information.
- Experience planning documentation work across multiple releases.
- Hands-on Docs-as-Code experience: Markdown/AsciiDoc, Git, pull requests, static site generators, CI/CD for documentation.
