Join Kraken as a Software Engineer to design and implement high-throughput, low-latency services in Rust and TypeScript for our Blockchain Platform team, enabling rapid development across multiple blockchain protocols.
Kraken is a mission-focused company rooted in crypto values, dedicated to accelerating the global adoption of crypto to enable financial freedom and inclusion. As a fully remote company, Kraken has team members in 70+ countries who develop premium crypto products for experienced traders, institutions, and newcomers, including Kraken Pro, Desktop, Wallet, and Kraken Futures, all while maintaining industry-leading security and client support. The Blockchain Platform team serves as the connective tissue of Kraken's engineering organization. This team builds the infrastructure that every other team touching blockchain data relies on, abstracting away the complexities of dozens of different chain protocols to enable rapid development without requiring deep blockchain expertise across the board. They own systems for node interactions, block ingestion & parsing, balance tracking, and on-chain data processing at scale, handling over 1.2 billion operations daily across 120+ chains.
