Nebius is seeking a Vendor Security & Standards Manager to ensure compliance with security standards across the supply chain. This remote, full-time role involves vendor engagement, compliance verification, and continuous improvement.
This role sits at the enforcement edge of the NGSCS function — its purpose is to ensure that every vendor, carrier, 3PL, and logistics partner operating within the Nebius supply chain performs to the standards Nebius defines, without exception. The Vendor Security & Standards Manager is responsible for physically verifying compliance on the ground, identifying gaps, mandating corrective actions, and holding vendors accountable to a zero tolerance policy on security standards. Where vendors fall short, this role drives change - escalating non-compliance, enforcing remediation timelines, and recommending vendor sanctions where necessary. It operates globally, engaging with vendors across all Nebius supply chain regions including the USA, EU, Taiwan, APAC and Israel - and serves as the NGSCS authority on vendor security performance. It reports directly to the Head of Global Supply Chain Security and works in close coordination with regional managers to ensure consistent standards enforcement across the entire vendor network.
What you'll do
- Standards Ownership & Enforcement — Own the Nebius vendor security standards framework, ensuring it is current, comprehensive, and enforceable across all vendor categories including carriers, 3PLs, freight forwarders, guarding companies, and last-mile providers.
- Maintain and update vendor-facing security requirements, obligations, and compliance benchmarks in line with NGSCS policy and global best practice; define and enforce a zero tolerance compliance policy with clear escalation paths for non-compliance.
- Ensure all vendors are formally onboarded against NGSCS security standards, including documented acceptance of requirements prior to operational engagement.
- Work with NGSCS leadership, legal, and procurement to embed vendor security requirements in contracts and service agreements.
- Physical Compliance Verification — Conduct regular, unannounced, and scheduled on-site compliance inspections at vendor facilities, transit points, and operational environments globally; verify controls align with Nebius standards (access control, personnel screening, CCTV, handling procedures, tamper-evidence, chain of custody).
- Assess vendor compliance against TAPA FSR, TAPA TSR, and NGSCS-specific requirements; document findings and produce clear compliance reports and gap assessments.
- Identify systemic compliance risks and escalate to NGSCS leadership with remediation strategies; drive gap closure and corrective action processes with timelines.
- Issue formal corrective action notices, track remediation, and re-inspect to verify effectiveness; maintain a global vendor compliance register.
- Escalate persistent or severe non-compliance to Head of Global Supply Chain Security, with recommendations for sanctions, suspension, or replacement.
- Vendor Engagement & Performance Management — Serve as primary NGSCS contact for vendor security compliance globally; communicate expectations to vendor leadership; conduct regular vendor security reviews and performance assessments; drive a culture of security accountability; support onboarding of new vendors by assessing security posture.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement — Produce regular global vendor compliance reports; identify non-compliance patterns and recommend systemic improvements; contribute to updates of NGSCS policy, SOPs, and vendor documentation.
Requirements
- Significant experience in supply chain security compliance, vendor auditing.
