Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of the backup system (80-90% of working time) and storage systems
- Prepare work plans for change requests
- Execute change requests based on previously prepared work plans (including during maintenance windows)
- Resolve incidents
- Create profiles for installation and connection of physical components for equipment installation
- Monitor and analyze the performance of backup systems and storage systems
- Analyze the accuracy of monitoring readings in your area of responsibility, formulate tasks for monitoring adjustments
- Write scripts for automated management
- Resolve incidents in collaboration with bank colleagues, software developers, and integrators providing support for complex tasks and incidents
- Inventory components in your area of responsibility, control the relevance of inventory information
- Maintain and keep up-to-date working documentation in your area of responsibility
Requirements
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a backup systems administrator in a large organization
- Expert knowledge and experience in administering Veritas Netbackup
- Experience in administering tape libraries from Oracle, IBM, Dell
- Knowledge and experience in administering storage systems from manufacturers Huawei, Hitachi
- Knowledge and experience in administering SAN networks and SAN switches (Brocade)
- Experience in administering servers at a level below the operating system (manufacturers Huawei, Cisco, Dell, Yadro, etc.)
