Binance is hiring a Controls Testing & QA Specialist in Australia to design and execute controls testing plans for AML/CTF compliance, focusing on AUSTRAC obligations.

- Design and execute a periodic controls testing plan aligned to Binance Australia’s AML/CTF Program.
- Maintain and enhance the controls testing methodology.
- Conduct frequent controls testing using defined test scripts.
- Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness.
- Perform thematic reviews and emerging risk testing.
- QA and controls testing across core AML/CTF workflows.
- Draft periodic QA/controls testing MI dashboards and presentations.
- Communicate testing outcomes and recommendations.
- Support audit and regulatory readiness.
- 3-5+ years experience in AML/CTF compliance, QA, controls testing/monitoring, assurance, or internal audit.
- Demonstrated experience with AUSTRAC-focused AML/CTF obligations.
- Proven ability to perform controls testing across CDD/EDD, screening, transaction monitoring/investigations.
- Strong knowledge of control testing concepts.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides.
- Experience in digital assets/crypto exchange compliance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with transaction monitoring and screening tools is preferred.
- Certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CA AML/CTF are an advantage.
