- Java Core: Deep understanding of Java Core, including OOP, multithreading, collections, exceptions, and generics
- Spring Boot: Experience in developing microservices and REST APIs with Spring Boot, including Spring Data, Security, Actuator, and AOP
- Apache Flink: Experience with Apache Flink for stream processing, including DataStream API, state management, checkpoints, and Flink CDC
- Data Engineering: Experience with ETL/ELT, streaming and batch processes; tools like Airflow and Temporal
- Framework Design: Understanding of framework and library design principles — code 'for other developers'
- Big Data: Knowledge of working principles with big data (Spark, Dask, pandas on large datasets — a plus)
- Databases: Experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse; knowledge of data formats Iceberg and Paimon
- CI/CD and DevOps: Skills in CI/CD, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes — a plus)
- Code Quality: Ability to write tests (unit, integration), monitor code quality and maintainability
- Experience programming in Python: scripts, microservices, applications
