Join Intellectual Management Systems as a DevOps Engineer to develop and support infrastructure, automate application deployment, and ensure service reliability in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure on bare metal, virtual machines, and Kubernetes.
- Automate application build, delivery, and deployment using GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD.
- Ensure service reliability in a three-site infrastructure, participate in designing and testing failover and recovery scenarios.
- Maintain storage systems, databases, and infrastructure services: manage configurations, updates, backups, and recovery.
- Enhance monitoring and alerts, identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot incidents, and eliminate root causes of recurring failures.
- Ensure secure service interactions, manage secrets, certificates, and access.
- Document architecture, operational procedures, and technical decisions.
Requirements
- Container infrastructure and networking: Kubernetes, K3s, Cilium.
- CI/CD and artifact storage: GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD, Harbor, Nexus.
- Storage: S3-compatible systems — MinIO, SeaweedFS; Ceph.
- Databases and caching: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis / Valkey.
- Secrets and access management: Vault, Keycloak.
- Communication services: WebRTC, TURN / coturn.
- Monitoring: VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Zabbix.
- Proficient with Linux and understanding of server infrastructure operation principles.
- Understanding of bare metal, hypervisors, and virtualization; familiarity with Proxmox VE and VMware is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the OSI model at L1–L7 and ability to apply this knowledge in diagnostics.
- Understanding of routing, NAT, and DNS, ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and service availability issues.
- Understanding principles of building resilient infrastructure across three sites: replication, quorum, system behavior during site loss or connectivity issues. Practical experience is highly valued.
- Understanding of cryptographic protection practices, working with certificates, and mutual TLS authentication — mTLS.
- Independence in diagnostics, attention to detail in changes, and ability to assess their impact on availability and security.
- Will be a plus:
