About this role
BGStaff is looking for a Golang Developer to work on projects remotely or in a hybrid format. Responsibilities include developing solutions on the Vectura Framework.
Description
BGStaff is an IT staffing agency. Work on the bench with projects of your choice. Tasks on the project include developing solutions as part of the VRS platform on the Vectura Framework (VFW).
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Implement new functionality and develop existing modules of the platform on Vectura Framework: server-side in Go, changes to data structures in PostgreSQL, client-side in JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Develop software solutions based on requirements from functional consultants.
- Develop integration exchanges with external systems according to agreed contracts.
- Prepare data migration scenarios when changing schemas, develop unit tests.
- Internal testing of modifications on the test environment, handover to the consultant for acceptance.
- Fix defects: localize errors in code, make corrections, re-acceptance.
Requirements
Requirements
- Experience in developing new services and modules from scratch, not just maintaining existing code.
- Experience in developing server logic and software interfaces: REST API, web sockets.
- Experience with PostgreSQL: data schema design, writing and optimizing queries.
- Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and React sufficient for client-side modifications.
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP), understanding of asynchronous programming.
- Proficient in Git, utilities, and Unix commands (ssh, grep, etc.).
