Head Of Compliance

Responsibilities

• Develop the compliance and internal control system for the cryptocurrency exchange.
• Monitor changes in requirements and assist teams in implementing them into workflows.
• Develop internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
• Identify violations, propose corrective measures, and monitor their implementation.
• Prepare reports for management and interact with AML, risk, legal, and IT teams.

Requirements

• Higher education.
• Experience in internal control, compliance, auditing, or related work in the financial market.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear processes and solutions for the business.
• Impeccable business reputation.

Suitable Experience

• At least 1 year in a relevant managerial position in a financial organization, such as head of internal control, internal audit, or risk management.
• At least 2 years in internal control, internal audit, or risk management in a financial organization or as an auditor of its financial statements.
• At least 3 years of relevant work in a financial organization or regulator, such as in legal support, accounting, financial operations, control, or supervision.
• Meeting any one of the options is sufficient. The timelines of 1, 2, and 3 years do not accumulate: they depend on the nature of previous work.

Conditions

• Understanding of the cryptocurrency market and experience in building compliance processes in digital asset projects is a plus.
