- Implement changes to production infrastructure where uptime is critical
- Maintain high availability of BitGo's Blockchain services
- Participate in the operations response team (on-call rotation)
- Facilitate deployment of new code and support release processes
- Support operational monitoring and alerting
- Ensure reliability and availability of our logging platform
- Maintain Kubernetes clusters on both bare-metal and AWS
- Support deployment strategy through automation, scripting, and workflow optimization
- Manage distributed Databases and Kafka clusters
Required:
- 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure role
- Experience leveraging AI to amplify impact
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Proficiency with AWS and Kubernetes, including experience working in distributed Kubernetes environments
- Highly fluent in Bash and either Python, or GoLang
- Experience scaling and tuning performance of large systems
- Strong security background including secrets management, WAFs, and network policy enforcement
- Hands-on experience with databases
- Experience as a member of an on-call rotation
- Interest in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space
Preferred:
- Experience with modern deployment tooling such as ArgoCD
- Experience with GitHub Actions or other modern CI tooling
- Experience with CNCF Kubernetes ecosystem including operators
- Competitive salary between $180,000 - 200,000 CAD
