Internship opportunity for a Data Engineer at MTS, focusing on ETL procedures and data integration.
Description
MTS is a leading telecommunications company in Russia, providing a range of services including web solutions and big data analytics.
Responsibilities
- Develop ETL procedures for datagov services using Python, PySpark, Hadoop, and Airflow.
- Collect data from various relational and non-relational sources.
- Create and populate data warehouses in Hive/Postgres/Clickhouse/Greenplum.
Requirements
- Students in their 3rd to 6th year of bachelor's, specialist, or master's programs.
- Good knowledge of Python.
- Confident knowledge of SQL and ability to work with relational databases.
- Experience with data processing frameworks like Pandas/Polars/Spark is a plus.
