About this role
Join MTS as a Middle Data Scientist to work on data exploration, model building, and user segmentation in a hybrid environment.
Description
MTS is a leading telecommunications company that focuses on providing innovative solutions and services in the tech industry.
Responsibilities
- Explore raw data sets to find necessary features;
- Build personalization models for B2C subscribers throughout their lifecycle;
- Develop classical demand and response models;
- Evaluate demand elasticity and optimize pricing;
- Perform user and product segmentation;
- Support current product solutions and manage processes in airflow and A/B tests;
- Participate in developing libraries for automating core processes.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of statistical approaches and methods;
- Commercial experience with classical machine learning algorithms (LR, RF, XGBoost/LGBM/CatBoost);
- Good SQL skills;
- Experience conducting A/B tests;
- Experience with optimization methods and time series (a plus);
- Experience with big data stack (hadoop, spark, airflow) (a plus);
- Experience in telecommunications (a plus).
