X5 Media is looking for a Lead Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience in Python and Django to develop their advertising platform's backend.
Description
X5 Media is developing an advertising platform and is looking for backend developers for the advertiser's personal account team. The system processes tens of thousands of requests per second and operates on terabytes of data.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend for the advertiser's personal account
- Implement a service for predicting reach and cost of advertising campaigns in near real-time
- Implement complex business logic and access role model
- Optimize service performance: code efficiency, database queries, and architecture under high loads
- Cover your code with automated tests
Requirements
- 6+ years of commercial development experience in Python, with strong knowledge of Django and DRF
- Deep understanding of relational database principles (PostgreSQL), ability to optimize queries
- Confident skills in Linux at an advanced user level
- Excellent knowledge of Git
- Understanding of how the web works: HTTP, REST, principles of client-server interaction
