Wildberries is looking for an ML Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in Data Science and ML Engineering to enhance their matching core and improve NLP processes.

- Develop the matching core: retrieval of candidates using text, image, and multimodal embeddings, train pair classification models, work with product attributes.
- Improve the NLP part of the pipeline considering the specifics of wholesale goods: process titles, extract attributes from descriptions, fine-tune embedding models.
- Bring solutions to production and be responsible for them.

- Strong understanding of NLP: transformer models, embeddings, vector search, experience in fine-tuning models for specific tasks.
- Experience in matching tasks.
- Experience in Data Science and ML Engineering with production model deployment for at least 3 years.
- Proficient knowledge of Python, ML stack, SQL.
- Ability to choose the right solution for the task: not using neural networks where heuristics are sufficient, and vice versa.
- Experience with CV and multimodal models (CLIP-like, metric learning), LLM/VLM in classification/ranking tasks is a plus.
