Wildberries is looking for a System Analyst with at least 2 years of experience in distributed systems development. The role involves analyzing systems, preparing specifications, and designing APIs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the subject area, identify dependencies between systems, define service boundaries and integration points.
- Prepare system specifications: functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability, reliability), acceptance criteria, User Stories, and Use Cases.
- Design APIs and interaction contracts, maintain specifications (OpenAPI/AsyncAPI), coordinate interfaces with developers and related teams.
- Create and maintain analytical artifacts: C4 diagrams, sequence diagrams, ER models.
- Participate in architectural discussions, prepare ADR for your solutions, undergo arch review.
- Coordinate requirements with development, QA, and operations, ensure a common understanding of tasks within the team.
- Participate in grooming, planning, effort estimation, accompany tasks until acceptance and release.
- Assist QA with acceptance criteria and test cases, verify compliance of implementation with requirements.
- Maintain documentation relevance in Wiki and other knowledge storage systems.
- Take responsibility for assigned subsystems and develop expertise in them.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a System Analyst in distributed systems development teams.
- Ability to gather requirements from the business, translate them into formal specifications, and deliver them to development without loss.
- Proficient in API design (REST, gRPC, message brokers) and contract description through OpenAPI/AsyncAPI.
- Understand when to apply which integration method: synchronous/asynchronous, queues, events - and their implications (SLA, consistency, failure scenarios).
- Confident in notations: UML, C4, sequence diagrams.
- Understanding of SQL and data models, knowledge of normalization, denormalization, and evolution of data models over time.
- Ability to decompose complex systems into parts: see boundaries between services at the design level.
- Experience working in Agile teams, understanding of roles and development processes.
- Willingness to take responsibility for your subsystems and develop expertise in them over the long term.
- Experience with AI agents and artificial intelligence.
- Bonus: experience with microservices architecture; knowledge of BPMN; familiarity with Domain-Driven Design practices; ability to read code if needed to understand implementation.
