About this role

Galaxy is seeking a Project Controls Manager with 7+ years of experience in managing schedule, cost, and documentation for large-scale construction programs, particularly in data centers.

Description

Who We Are

Galaxy Digital Inc. (Nasdaq: GLXY) is a global leader in digital assets and data center infrastructure, growing the economy that runs on code. Galaxy delivers the onchain infrastructure that connects institutions to digital assets, including trading, advisory, asset management, staking, self-custody, and tokenization. Galaxy also develops and operates data center infrastructure to power AI and HPC workloads. Anchored by its Helios campus in Texas, Galaxy is building a multi-gigawatt pipeline of more than 5.7 GW of potential capacity, positioning it among the largest and fastest-growing data center developers in North America. The Company is headquartered in New York City, with offices across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Additional information about Galaxy's businesses and products is available on [www.galaxy.com](http://www.galaxy.com/).
Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Manage the third-party scheduling consultants who review, analyze, and maintain the master schedule, setting expectations for quality, cadence, and reporting
  • Work directly with general contractors to review and validate their schedules — testing logic, durations, critical path, float, and sequencing against owner milestones
  • Own schedule health reporting to leadership, giving a clear, honest picture of progress, risk, and forecast, and escalating issues before they become delays
  • Own the change order process end-to-end: intake, review, verification, negotiation, and resolution
  • Critically evaluate change orders for scope, pricing, and schedule impact — verifying quantities, labor, markups, and backup rather than taking submissions at face value
  • Negotiate change orders directly with the general contractor to protect Galaxy's cost and schedule position
  • Represent Galaxy in weekly change and progress meetings with the GC, driving accountability and timely closure of open items
  • Maintain a complete, auditable change order log reconciled against the project budget and GMP
  • Serve as the bridge between field/GC reality and Finance's cost picture, ensuring both tell the same story
  • Own documentation control for active projects — RFIs, submittals, change documentation, meeting records, and contractual correspondence
  • Establish and improve project controls standards, templates, reporting, and governance across the portfolio
Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of project controls or construction management experience on large-scale, complex programs; mission-critical or data center experience required
  • Proven experience managing schedule on the owner's side, including oversight of scheduling consultants and review of GC-maintained schedules
  • Deep, hands-on command of CPM scheduling and Primavera P6 — enough to interrogate a schedule, not just read one
  • Demonstrated experience owning the change order process, including verification and direct negotiation with general contractors
  • Strong working knowledge of construction contracts and GMP structures (AIA A133/A201 or similar)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to hold GCs accountable and brief executives with equal credibility
  • Ability to manage controls across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Conditions & Benefits

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus
  • Flexible Time Off (i.e. unlimited paid vacation days)
  • Company paid Holidays (14)
  • Company paid sick leave
  • Company-paid health and protective benefits for employees, partners, and other dependents
  • 3% 401(k) company contribution
  • Generous paid Parental Leave
  • Free virtual coaching and counseling sessions through Ginger
  • Free daily snacks in-office
  • Smart, entrepreneurial, and fun colleagues
  • Employee Resource Groups

Benefits may vary depending on location.
