Join STARTRIBE LTD. as a QA Automation Engineer focusing on Backend/API testing. Work in a hybrid model with a full-time schedule.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Analyze and verify contracts (API) between client and server
- Functional testing of endpoints: REST API and gRPC (isolated and integration testing) according to DoD
- Prepare and validate test data (at the level of complex SQL queries and generating/checking messages in Kafka)
- Design test cases and document bug reports in YouTrack/Qase
- Actively interact with the automation team
Requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of testing experience
- Proficient in Java for 1+ year: OOP, collections, Stream API, and core language features
- Work with Maven and Git (GitLab)
- Know basic test design patterns and work with Allure
- Conduct API testing using RestAssured and JUnit 5
- Understand REST API principles: HTTP methods, status codes, JSON
- Work with serialization and deserialization of POJO
- Conduct UI testing using Playwright + Java
