About this role
Join Sber as a Scala Blockchain Developer to work on the Digital Depository project, developing blockchain applications and services.
Description
We are developing an application blockchain layer for the Digital Depository: creating services for indexing assets and client balances in popular blockchain networks and closely working with cryptography at the application level.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full backend development cycle (from architecture and coding to production deployment);
- Design and develop REST APIs for external integrations;
- Work with PostgreSQL and Kafka queues;
- Write quality code with full test coverage.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial development experience in Scala 2.13 (standard library, Future, implicits);
- Practical experience with Quill (query optimization, partitioning) and Jetty (embedded, thread pools, WebSocket);
- Confident working with Kafka (consumers/producers, manual commit, handling rebalancing);
- Knowledge of Bouncy Castle (ECDSA, Keccak, key management);
- Experience with Liquibase (migrations without downtime), Cucumber, and CI/CD (Jenkins, Groovy);
- Understanding of popular blockchain concepts (blocks, transactions, logs, cryptography) and experience with RPC clients (Web3j / ethers / JSON-RPC);
- Experience with agency development.
