Top Selection is an IT recruitment agency seeking a Senior Data Scientist for product analytics.
Responsibilities

- Selecting and building suitable mathematical models for problem-solving
- Choosing optimal architecture for product tasks
- Identifying product weaknesses and addressing them, finding growth points
- Setting up and conducting AA/AB/ABN experiments
- Maintaining the product codebase at a stable high level
- Task assignment and monitoring execution by other analysts
- Presenting and defending results
- Mentoring Junior and Middle analysts
Requirements
Requirements
- Relevant education or certifications in data analysis and machine learning
- 3+ years of experience in data science
- Proficient in Python (PEP 8), able to write optimal code in terms of time and memory, fluent in OOP, test-driven development
- Experience in project architecture design, project deployment to production, working with CI/CD
- Process scheduling design (Airflow, cron)
- SQL: window functions, ability to identify suboptimal queries, knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of different DB types, experience in developing ETL pipelines
- Experience with PySpark (broadcast join, Spark UI)
- Basic probability theory and statistics, A/B testing and hypothesis validation
- Advanced knowledge of hypothesis testing methods: multiple hypothesis testing, parametric and non-parametric methods, bootstrap
- Knowledge of variance reduction methods in experiments, ability to analyze effects without control and test groups
- Knowledge of classical ML methods and the full cycle of conducting A/B tests
- Deep understanding of product metrics, translating business tasks into DS/DA/DE and decomposing complex tasks
- Experience consulting and working closely with product or business clients, ability to assign tasks to mid-level analysts
