BUREAU 1440 is looking for a Senior Data Services Developer (Python) to work on backend development for a space system modeling ecosystem.
Description
BUREAU 1440 is a developer and operator of a low-orbit satellite communication constellation. We are looking for a strong Python developer for the backend of the Space System Modeling Ecosystem.
Responsibilities

- Development of data management microservices for the Space System Model
- Development of ETL/ELT data processing pipelines
- Integration of computational modules (microservices)
- Implementation of data quality control processes
- Development of data models and agreement on data contracts
- Work with PostgreSQL and Clickhouse databases
- Data processing and analysis in Pandas, NumPy, Polars
Requirements
Requirements
- Engineering or technical education (mandatory)
- Experience in Python development for at least 3 years (1 year for Middle position)
- Experience with data analysis libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Polars
- Understanding of data storage design principles
- Experience with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse databases
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster)
- Understanding of stream processing system principles
- Experience in web application development (FastAPI)
- Experience with Docker containers
- Experience with team collaboration tools: Confluence, Jira, Git
