About this role
Join Okkam as a Junior Python Developer and work with data structures, support existing code, and develop new B2B software solutions.
Description
Okkam unites communication agencies and business verticals (media, consulting, creative, e-commerce, trade marketing, martech). The BigData team creates intelligent communication products, using Agile and Lean.
Responsibilities
- Work with various data structures and their sources
- Support the existing codebase — debugging, performance optimization
- Develop new software solutions for business (B2B products for internal and external users)
Requirements
- Commercial development experience of ~1 year
- Good knowledge of Python, its infrastructure, and built-in libraries
- Knowledge of at least one popular web framework
- Knowledge of at least one popular data processing framework (numpy / pandas / polars)
- Familiarity with code optimization methods (vectorization, parallelization, async)
- Good knowledge of relational databases
- Experience in writing automated tests
- Docker, Linux, Git
