About the Opportunity

You will play a key role in facilitating fiat transactions on a global scale, managing daily settlements and reconciliations, and addressing and solving payment-related issues efficiently. Responsibilities

• Manage customers' fiat currency deposits and withdrawals on the exchange platform; oversee and execute the transfer of fiat currency into and out of the exchange
• Reconcile daily fiat balances between the exchange system and bank accounts
• Resolve customer inquiries related to payment processing
• Analyse and highlight exceptional items related to settlements; collaborate with cross-functional teams and banking partners to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Support future development efforts by testing new product offerings
• Provide performance reports and analysis with metrics for assessing performance and improvements
• Support the accounting team with reconciliations and other payment-related activities
• Review settlement operations and suggest areas of improvements and automations
• Support ad-hoc requests from the operations team or cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in fiat operations, preferably in cryptocurrency, banking, payment services, or fintech industries
• Proficient in financial reconciliation and accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong prioritization skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with MAS regulations and compliance procedures
• Previous experience working at a crypto exchange
• Experience working across time zones and cross-cultural teams
